Throughout the film's 106 minute run time, it combats a number of social issues, the main being the intensive focus on prosthetic development and integration into modern day society, thus following the philosophy that our organic bodies can no longer meet the standards we desire of them. The plot of the film was relatively predictable and can best be summarised as a linear story, due to the film's large budget no expenses were

Film Analysis - 'An American Werewolf in London' (Directed by John Landis)

First official trailer:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAElp03BUCs 'An American Werewolf in London' is a classic horror comedy directed by 'John Landis' ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Landis ) that was completed with a 10 million dollar budget and grossed around 62 million dollars in box office.  The film itself features a variety of settings such as the vast stretches of rural land within England as well as the packed, recognisable streets of 1980's  London, this contrast between environments emphasises the characteristics of both rural and urban Britain whilst and also helping the viewer to acknowledge each change of location more clearly. The main character(s) which are introduced at the start of the film greatly stand out from their surroundings, each of them is wearing a (relatively) modern water resistant coat as well as a large travellers backpack, from these alone it is obvious that these two are aliens in damp moors of Yorkshire (of which the

Film Analysis - 'True Romance' (Directed by Tony Scott)

First Official Trailer ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wNYNDzKpuQ ) The film 'True Romance', directed by Tony Scott ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Scott ) is a touching film that captures the audience with its imperfect characters and its perfect story of love, conflict and compromise. The film features two individuals who fall in love with each other (basically) at first sight, however unlike most other romantic dramas, this film takes the expression of love somewhat differently, that including the causation and consequences of it. Love takes these two individuals by storm, romanticising the male partner 'Clarence' into committing unlawful acts of murder in the name of love whilst the female partner, 'Alabama' takes these acts of violence as being deeply romantic. Each character is quirky and interesting all because love takes on the many roles that it needs to survive in this world, sometimes taking on the guise of kindness, sadness and occasionall

Film Analysis - "Fargo" (Directed by the Coen Brothers)

First Official Trailer ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2tY82z3xXU ) Fargo, an interesting film, was directed by the infamous Coen Brothers ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coen_brothers ), this talented duo are well known for the creation of a variety of (action) thrillers that stepped beyond the norm of film making. As a film, Fargo entertains the audience with a level of comedic value that often outshines the seriousness of the actual plot, it takes something as dreadful as an abduction and triple homicide and transforms it into something quite benign, harmless even. The film focuses heavily upon the concept of wealth/greed/desire and how it affects a individuals mentality; throughout the entirety of the film there are around three (to four) cases where this is apparent, the qualities of each of those affected by the lust for physical/figurative wealth are almost all negative, each individual was desperate, easily irritated, some even downright murderous.  Fargo seems to portray
